For Vespa lovers who want something totally different, we offer this Gilera GSA.
Perhaps one of the most unique scooters we've ever imported. This is a running, unrestored bike. It is as it came to us.
The Gilera GSA is a mix of metal frame with plastic panels and leg shiels. Minimalist for certain. This bike does not even have a speedometer. Just lights and a mirror. The left control engages and disengages the rear wheel for easier rolling.
These share a lot of the same drive train as the Vespinos. This is a dual variated bike that takes the common Vespino cylinders and large clamp Dellorto SHA carburetor.
This particular model has a very uncommon accessory- the buddy seat. It is installed over the fuel cap and is removed with a thumb screw. Under the front seat is a small storage compartment where you'll find a GSA booklet.
It is in pretty decent shape for its age. Yes the side panels are faded and it has the odd scuff or scrape here. The biggest thing we can see on this is that the clutch cover has been repaired in the past where the twist-bolt secures the cover in the front.
